Role mainly supports the GFCT (Global Financing and Credit Trading) business ensuring accurate and timely financial and risk reporting. Since the candidate supports this business being part of GFCT, the below responsibility fits well considering role enhancement.

Summary of role

The role mainly supports the GFCT Central business ensuring accurate and timely financial and risk reporting. The role involves Business Revenue and Balance sheet Planning and Forecasting. Close interaction with the Front Office, Business Management, Operations and Finance teams is essential. The role also involves facing off to both external auditors, Business Finance Leads, COOs.

Your key responsibilities

  • Provide co-ordination and partnership between external auditors, Front Office and support functions within DB to ensure issues (e.g. RWA, TBBB classifications, levelling, etc.) are resolved promptly.
  • Working with control functions to ascertain fair and accurate regulatory reporting for TBBB(Trading Book Banking Book) , FSE (Financial sector entity exposure) , HTC Sales etc..
  • Working with COOs and Central BF leads for monthly revenue and Balance sheet Forecasting. Additionally working closely with Business Managers, COOs and CFO central function for annual revenue and Balance Sheet planning exercise.
  • Provide monthly FRM Flash with explanation/commentary of Flash vs Actual variances.
  • Responsible for Quarterly IFRS 13/IFRS12/IFRS9 disclosure reporting.
  • Challenge the process methodology, with the expectation of achieving control efficiencies and improved management data.
  • Act as a point of contact for engagements with the wider Finance community and Desk, taking part in initiative to minimise duplication of effort and maximise efficiencies.

Your skills and experience

  • Responsible for erstwhile FD responsibilities for GFCT business.
  • This includes analytics function (Financial Intelligence) for different business in GFCT.
  • Supports audit queries around GFCT business.
  • Responsibility involves interaction with Business finance heads/Desk to help them in day-to day business analysis covering FRM/Revenues etc.
  • Working experience of 7 years in Finance profile.
