DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. We are looking for an Automation Engineer who will define and manage testing strategies, plans and deliverables related to testing within specific applications and programs of work on a global basis. Will manage and drive the adoption of recognized best practice and policy and contribute to the ongoing improvement of methodologies and assets. In this role, you will manage and be accountable for the functional and non-functional testing of one or more applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement automated QA processes and procedures within the SDLC.
  • Build automated regression testing capabilities across web, API, performance, and integration testing.
  • Manage defect tracking and test reporting, collaborating with stakeholders to develop effective test cases.
  • Drive a customer-focused approach to deliver fit-for-purpose business functionality.
  • Research and debug issues in development and production, contributing to technology modernization through best practices.

Skills

  • Possess strong technical vision and hands-on experience in software development and test automation, including BDD and TDD.
  • Expertise in QA automation tools, particularly with Java 11+/Spring Boot microservices, UI web front-end (React/Angular), and performance testing.
  • Proficiency in tools like Selenium/Protractor, Rest Assure/REST API testing, Gherkin/Cucumber, and CI/CD integrations.
  • Over 7 years of experience in QA & Testing, preferably in banking applications and leadership roles, with in-depth knowledge of industry best practices and tools such as Jira and ALM/QC.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders, deliver results in matrixed organizations, and familiarity with development platforms (BitBucket/GitHub, Artifactory, Confluence, Jira), Docker containerization, and desirable experience in data streaming and cloud environments.
