AFC Technology is a 1000-person organization responsible for a significant annual change book of work across 8 key areas, the major locations are London, Frankfurt, Pune, Bucharest, and New York.

The key responsibility for AFC Technology is to partner with the AFC function to deliver data and platforms to cover a wide range of Financial Crime Risk Controls including Transaction Monitoring (TM), Name List Screening (NLS) and Anti-Fraud Bribery and Corruption (AFB&C).

Reporting to the AFC Head of Data Management and Transformation, you will be responsible for oversight of change initiatives to support data management objectives and regulatory. You will build and maintain strong partnerships with relevant stakeholders within AFC and across Deutsche Bank, providing thought leadership and helping to eliminate complexity and drive execution. A key element of your role will be to build and manage the Programme Office in the AFC Data Transformation Programme.

Your key responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams, driving discipline in prioritization of programs aligned to AFC Data Office.
  • Setup and run the AFC Data Transformation Programme Office, ensuring all Group Key Deliverable programme obligations and regulatory commitments are met.
  • Successful planning and execution of deliverables related to the Enterprise Data Management programme.
  • Close collaboration with key stakeholders and leaders to ensure quality delivery of benefits within agreed budget, resources, and time frame.

Your skills and experience

  • A background in Change Management, with in-depth experience working in the banking industry
  • Previous experience in a leadership role defining, operating and driving material programmes of work
  • Experience and affinity in Data Management and IT transformation
  • Experience in Financial Crime or similar control function
  • Excellent execution skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders to drive meaningful decisions and secure commitment
  • Experience engaging directly with regulators and leading division or group wide representation
