Full Job Description

Join one of Danske Banks newest and most forward-thinking tribes, where we are transforming enterprise workflows and enabling automation at scale. We are looking for a hands-on Solution Architect to join our Case Management squad, responsible for designing and evolving a centralised Case Management capability built on the Workflow Orchestration Platform (Camunda 8)

The platform enables structured, semi-structured, and ad hoc workflows across domains, combining central governance with decentralised case-type development

In this role, you will define solution architectures, modelling patterns, and guardrails that allow domain teams to build scalable and compliant case-driven solutions while ensuring consistency, traceability, and operational excellence across the platform.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be a hands-on architect by actively designing a central Case Management capability that enables domains to build and operate case-driven solutions aligned with strategic roadmaps
  • Define and document architecture blueprints, solution designs, and modelling guidelines to ensure consistency, reuse, and scalability across domains
  • Provide architectural guidance on solution design decisions (e.g., decomposition, integration patterns, and modelling approaches) to teams building on the platform
  • Understand business domains and design solutions that enable flexible and reusable case-driven implementations, bridging business and technical perspectives
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Architects to enable successful adoption of the capability across the organisation
  • Support and guide teams in applying best practices, standards, and patterns when building case-driven solutions
  • Help continuously improve the way of working in the squad, contributing to standards and engineering practices

Required skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect or in similar role within enterprise platforms
  • Hands-on expertise with workflow orchestration platforms (e.g., Camunda) and BPMN-based process design
  • Experience in designing and transforming complex enterprise systems
  • Experience with structured modelling and documentation of Architecture e.g. ArchiMate, C4, arc42, UML
  • Ability to communicate architecture both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire and guide a diverse team

Preferred technologies and skills:

  • Camunda 8, Self-managed
  • Java and Spring-based development

This position can be located both in Denmark and Lithuania. If the position is located in Lithuania, the salary range will be from 4800 EUR to 7200 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).

Your job function (position) in the job contract will be Software Architecture
