In the Capital Exposure Management team, we as a of a few things calculate and report the bank's Risk Exposure Amount (REA), Capital distribution and ongoing monitoring of capital requirements. By working in our team, you will contribute with your knowledge of capital, how this links to capital regulations and the Banks processes. As capital is one of the most critical drivers of a banks profitability we always aim to find a balance between the regulatory and commercial agenda
 

We look for a profile who possesses strong insights into the either thorough understanding credit risk models, strong theoretical and practical capital knowledge, technically strong in optimising processes, strong regulatory background. 
You will join a skilled and diverse team of 16 employees who deliver high-quality strategic analyses of the link between Danske Banks capital structure development and financial performance. This enables Danske Bank to meet its strategic goals and prepare for the future. The team includes 5 colleagues based in Lithuania, 1 in Sweden and the rest in Denmark. 
The role offers close collaboration with experienced colleagues across the Nordics and Lithuania, as well as exposure to senior stakeholders. This is a chance to contribute meaningfully to an area that is central to the banks long-term strategy.


You will:
    Create strategic insights into Capital regulations and Capital processes 
    Interpret regulatory requirements, translate them into practical process applications and contribute to regulatory dialogue with a focus on implementation 
    Run and optimise a monthly analytical process and perform various kinds of ad hoc analyses 
    Collaborate with a diverse team to manage the monthly capital reporting process and  
    Adapt processes to comply with new regulations 
    Monitor our capital and risk exposures, providing insights to business units and senior management 
    Work on automating the process using tools such as SQL and Python. 
    Offer smart solutions and strategic guidance 

About you:

    5+ years experience in financial institutions, capital processes, financial regulations or similar area 
    More good senior skills relating to proactivity, communication, etc.  
    A strong understanding of financial regulation and the ability to interpret, apply, and operationalise regulatory requirements in a practical business context  
    Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks proactively and effectively, driving them from analysis to implementation
    Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and build trust across teams and seniority levels  
    A structured and analytical mindset, combined with sound judgement and confidence in decision-making  
    Experience with process optimisation and automation, including strong Python skills and the ability to debug and develop efficient solutions  
    A relevant higher education degree, preferably in finance, mathematics, science, programming, or a related field  
    Professional English proficiency, enabling effective collaboration in an international environment

The monthly salary range will be from 3120 EUR to 4680 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
