Our team is ensuring seamless operations and ensuring compliance across various fund-related functions within Danske Bank. Our main focus is routine activities linked to processing of fund trades and administrative tasks linked to investments funds, In addition we participate in complex market fund related projects in the Nordics and internationally and projects related to regulatory initiatives. We are a team of 13 people across Denmark, Norway and Lithuania read further if you would like to know more about our dynamic and international team!

As part of the Large Corporates & Institutions area, our team plays a crucial role in supporting a wide range of departments across Danske Bank. We ensure seamless collaboration across the entire value chain from Front to Back and provide specialist support to maintain excellence in Operations.

Your responsibilities

On a daily basis, you will work closely with stakeholders and counterparties across all markets and segments, maintaining high process quality while seeking opportunities to improve workflows, systems, and automation. Furthermore, you will:

  • Place Fund orders both in internal and external systems
  • Monitor the banks trading flow for funds
  • Ensure cash funding for trades
  • Support clients and advisors linked to fund trading
  • Make new funds available for trading
  • Reconciliation of holdings, internal holdings vs external holdings
  • Utilise analytical skills to develop automation and optimisation solutions to enhance operational efficiency
  • Participate as subject matter expert in internal and regulatory projects, provide insights, define business requirements, improve departmental processes and conduct system testing

  • A minimum of 3 years work experience, preferably within the finance sector
  • Understanding of trading and settling of investments funds
  • Interest in custody and safekeeping of assets
  • Knowledge about investment funds and MIFID regulations
  • Interest in Financial Markets and Banking Operations
  • Proficient organisational skills with the ability to prioritise urgent tasks
  • Advanced English language skills, both spoken and written
