LC&I serves Danske Banks largest and most sophisticated customers across the Nordics, built on longlasting relationships, deep product expertise and leading customer satisfaction. Since June 2023, we have embarked on an ambitious journey with our Forward 28 strategy to become the leading wholesale bank in the Nordics.

As Head of Strategy & Insights, you will play a central role in enabling the LC&I Leadership Team to navigate complexity, make informed decisions and deliver on our strategic commitments. You will join the Strategy & Execution leadership team alongside peers from the Digital Transformation Office, Project Execution, Customer Events, and Market Data Management.

In this group, you will contribute to shaping LC&Is broader strategic portfolio and our people agenda. Together, the leadership team ensures that we maintain a holistic pulse on the strategy from direction to prioritization to execution.

The team, purpose and key responsibilities 
You will lead a motivated, highperforming team of eight colleagues who combine management consulting experience with deep financialindustry expertise. The team acts as a trusted strategic advisor to LC&I management by shaping strategic choices, priorities and direction to build a longterm successful LC&I franchise.

In the role as Head of Strategy & Insights, you will:

• Run the strategy cycle: Lead the annual strategy wheel (BoD Seminar, ELT/CLT deep dives, adhoc analysis), ensuring crisp materials, clear choices and strong followthrough.
• Create clarity from complexity: Scope and steer strategic problemsolving, integrating qualitative insights with robust quantitative analysis and financial impact
• Elevate decision quality: Facilitate executivelevel workshops; develop decision materials with strong strategic storylines; ensure tradeoffs are explicit and actions are owned
• Build outsidein insights: Establish a consistent cadence for market, competitor and customer intelligence to synthesize insights and inform strategic development
• Lead the team: Develop people, rolemodel consulting excellence, and foster a culture rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and having fun
• Drive portfolio steering: ridge strategy to implementation through clear portfolio planning on key strategic priorities and balancing execution with new, innovative ideas

What we are looking for  
We are looking for a leader who can inspire confidence, navigate ambiguity with positivity, create buyin, and engage senior leadership with clarity and conviction. Additionally, you also bring:

• 510 years of relevant experience, ideally a mix of leading management consulting and meaningful roles in the banking industry
• Familiarity with wholesale banking/corporate banking, including an understanding of key performance drivers
• Strong commercial mindset, financial acumen and advanced analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into clear strategic options and P&L implications
• Deep consulting toolbox (e.g. hypothesisdriven problem solving) and a track record of successfully executing multistakeholder programmes
• Excellent strategic communication and facilitation skills, from executive storylining to boardready materials and townhall narratives
• Experience advising senior leaders, with the ability to challenge assumptions with credibility, clarity and integrity
• People leadership experience: building teams, coaching experienced consultants and analysts, and raising the bar on structure, pace and delivery quality
