About the role

We are seeking an Experienced Strategy Consultant with strong expertise in strategy development and execution, an affinity for data, AI, and analytics, and preferably experience in the financial services industry. In this role, as part of the Data & Analytics (D&A) team at Danske Bank, you will contribute to shaping the Group's data and analytics strategy and assist with its execution from vision to implementation.

As an experienced member of the team, you will take ownership of your assignments from day one, delivering impactful results both independently and collaboratively with colleagues. In addition to being a strong team player, you should be skilled in engaging with senior leaders while maintaining the flexibility to dive into detailed tasks when required.

The team

Our team is responsible for driving, guiding, and overseeing the strategy and execution of Danske Bank's data, AI, and analytics initiatives, as well as the broader business management of the D&A area. Collaborating with key stakeholders across the Group, we ensure robust strategic and financial planning, effective governance, alignment with strategic goals, and a focus on fulfilling committed objectives.

Key responsibilities of the role

• Lead projects and conduct qualitative and quantitative strategic analyses, delivering actionable outcomes and recommendations
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define strategic plans and roadmaps, translating ambitions into actionable initiatives with measurable metrics and clear success criteria
• Drive the adoption of data, AI, analytics, and data-driven decision-making across Danske Bank
• Facilitate cross-functional teams to ensure effective strategy execution, addressing challenges and modifying plans to suit changing requirements
• Oversee and govern progress across the strategic portfolio, monitoring key metrics, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders, and refining strategies as required
• Provide proactive support and advice to stakeholders, resolving challenges, addressing roadblocks, and managing dependencies across the portfolio
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, enabling seamless strategy execution
• Mentor team members, encouraging their growth and contributing to the development of the team

Expected qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in strategy and execution, gained either through consulting or in-house strategy and transformation functions, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively drive projects informed by data insights
• Demonstrated success in managing and implementing strategic projects
• Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to distil complex topics into clear and compelling narratives to persuade and generate buy-in from senior management and stakeholders
• Extensive experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications
• Proficiency in data and analytics tools and methodologies
• Capability to perform well in a dynamic and changing situation requiring prompt decisions
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, or a related field

Your job function (position) in the job contract will be Consultant Development, Principal. From 1 April 2026, it will be renamed to Transformation & Change under our new job architecture, with no impact on the role or responsibilities.
