We are looking for a new team member who is keen on efficiently handling securities trade settlement tasks, delivering high quality on time, and continuously improving our services and ways of working.
You will join an area focused on an innovative, agile, and truly customer-centric culture. As a Specialist, you will support settling trades in different markets around the world while also contributing to testing and improving our new custody settlement system.
Daily, you will work in close collaboration with customers, stakeholders, and counterparties across the world, as well as with IT and business teams to find the best solutions, maintain process quality, and drive continuous improvements.
This position includes shifts from 10:00 to 19:00 that are shared within the team using rotation, our teams usual business hours are 09:00 to 18:00.
The workplace is located in Vilnius, Lithuania. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office.
You will:
Handle custody settlement tasks, including business as usual and unusual, special cases
Investigate and resolve exceptions and discrepancies, securities and cash reconciliation
Communicate with customers, different stakeholders within the bank, external counterparties, and custodian banks all over the world
Collaborate with IT and Business organizations to identify issues, test solutions, and help implement the best process improvements
Participate in proactive settlement risk management, testing of the new custody settlement system, and continuous improvement of the service
Drive stakeholder communication and support automation and change initiatives that improve settlement processes and customer outcomes
About you:
At least 3 year experience in settlement services
Knowledge of financial markets products
Understanding of risk management
Understanding of post-trade services and trade lifecycle events
Data-driven, experienced in problem-solving, and proactively searching for solutions with a continuous improvement mindset
Customer-centric mindset and readiness to contribute to testing, change initiatives, and implementation of new solutions
Ability to cope with large volumes of complex tasks
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across IT and Business organizations
Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
