Location: Vilnius, Lithuania

Join us in Finance Tribe, where we help Danske Bank deliver on its financial potential by efficiently steering the Banks finances. We provide fast and accurate financial information to investors, regulators, and internal decision-makers, while continuously optimizing the management of financial resources. 

As a Data Engineer, you will join an innovative team building internal reporting applications and expanding a new AWS-based data management platform. Your expertise in Python,Pyspark and data engineering will be key to developing a scheduling platform on AWS and delivering data transformations, monitoring, and reconciliation jobs using AWS-native services.

You will ensure a smooth migration of ETL, monitoring, and reporting scripts from a legacy setup to Python in an AWS-native environment, working closely with a self-driven, cross-functional agile squad of Analysts and Engineers. You Will:

  • Design, build, and maintain ETLs and infrastructure required for data processing, analysis, and integration across various systems.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using IaaS and Terraform
  • Ensure data integrity and quality by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
  • Utilize AWS data services (e.g., AWS Glue, Lambda, AWS databases) to optimize data processes
  • Work in an agile & collaborative manner within internationally (Denmark and Lithuania) distributed squad
  • Working closely with other developers to ensure development is in par with development guidelines and best practices.

 

About You :

  • 3+ years of experience working as a Data Engineer with strong understanding of ETL processes, relational databases, and data modelling.
  • Experience with CI/CD, IaaS, and Terraform and experience with AWS data services
  • Proficient in Python and its related libraries for ETL 
  • Ability to work in a rapidly evolving environment and to contribute to the establishment of new engineering capabilities
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Analytical mindset to understand the problem and turn it into solution using code as a tool.
  • AWS Certified Data Engineer/Architect associate (would be a bonus)
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering or Science

Monthly salary range 3920 from EUR to 5880 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
