About us

The Internal Bank team, part of Group Treasury, is at the core of managing Treasury finance tasks. We are responsible for the Banks internal funds transfer pricing framework for capital, funding, liquidity and interest rate risk, as well as providing insights into the Banks balance sheet and net interest income developments. Our work spans multiple disciplines and functions, making it an essential element of the Banks pricing and profitability strategy.

You will join a team of engaged and supportive colleagues based in Copenhagen and Vilnius, working in an inclusive international environment. Our mission is to provide in-house advice on balance sheet-related matters using clear and accessible communication to support informed decision-making. We strive to create a welcoming, collaborative, and enjoyable workplace for everyone.

About the role 

As part of our team, you will contribute to key decision-making frameworks and help shape the Banks financial strategies. Your ability to work closely with various stakeholders will ensure transparency and efficiency in all aspects of your role.

We are looking for an individual who enjoys solving analytical challenges and thrives in a collaborative setting. You value clear communication, teamwork, and creating an inclusive space for ideas and innovation.

The workplace is located in either Vilnius, Lithuania; Helsinki, Finland or Copenhagen, Denmark. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office.

This role does not include a relocation allowance for candidates who are not based in Lithuania, Finland or Denmark.

You will:

  • Manage the funds transfer pricing for banking and trading products, including development of the framework and its calculation engine

  • Structure and run monthly processes, including adjustments to parameter matrices

  • Contribute to Treasury finance tasks such as business controlling, forecasting, and budgeting

  • Provide clear and actionable insights to stakeholders to support pricing and profitability

  • Support senior management with Treasury reporting and other analytics

About you:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an analytical role within the banking or financial sector

  • A higher degree in business administration, economics, or a related field

  • Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills and experience with tools such as Excel, Python, SQL, VBA, or similar

  • An understanding of banking fundamentals, including balance sheets, net interest income, funds transfer pricing, and regulation, as well as asset-liability management concepts

  • Additional experience in quantitative risk management, attention to detail, and a willingness to change and learn new processes is welcome

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
