Role summary
Were looking for an experienced Marketing & Business Development professional to lead and support the integrated global Corporate practice group. The role focuses on planning and delivering business development activity that supports the groups strategic priorities, working closely with partners and the global practice and sector marketing team.
This is a senior, collaborative role with responsibility for shaping and delivering BD initiatives across multiple channels, ensuring activity is wellplanned, coordinated and aligned to wider firm objectives.
What youll do
Youll lead and support business development activity for the Corporate practice group, including:
- Leading and developing a Business Development team supporting the group
- Owning business planning and budget management for BD initiatives
- Building and maintaining effective BD infrastructure and processes
- Supporting partners on pitches and proposals, from strategy through to delivery
- Planning and delivering campaigns, events and spotlight initiatives
- Driving client targeting activity in line with agreed priorities
- Managing communications and PR activity relevant to the group
- Coordinating legal directory and awards submissions
What youll bring
Youll bring strong experience in marketing and business development within a professional services environment, along with:
- Experience of practice group and sector marketing, including pitching and campaigns
- Confidence managing budgets and translating strategy into practical activity
- The ability to build effective working relationships with partners, colleagues and external suppliers
- Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills
- Strong numerical and analytical capability, with the ability to present complex information clearly
- A proactive, organised approach and a genuine interest in supporting business growth
