Marketing and BD Coordinator

You will work with colleagues in Sofia, CEE and the UK on a daily basis and much of your work - written and spoken - will be in Bulgarian and English.

We are looking for a Marketing and BD Coordinator in CMS Sofia to support the Partners, Counsels and Senior lawyers with marketing tasks on a daily basis. The person will prepare marketing materials, writing directory submissions, organising seminars and social events, and other tasks.

You do not need to have experience of working in a law firm, but previous experience in a junior role in marketing would be useful. You should have completed at least secondary education and should have attention to detail and strong analytical skills. If you are a legal professional with a passion for marketing, this is also your place.

Key responsibilities:

• Campaigns: to help develop and deliver marketing campaigns for local practices and localise globally led initiatives
• Events: to provide support before and during seminars, webinars and client social events
• Client Targeting: to help the team target potential clients and develop existing clients
• Communications/PR: to help identify opportunities to work with local media, assist with interviews and articles
• Pitching: to provide administrative support for proposals to clients and liaise with other offices as required
• BD infrastructure: to help maintain the BD infrastructure, including a full set of standard pitch content, clearly defined client mailing lists and target client lists
• Market Research: to provide market and industry research
• CRM: help with maintaining client contact database
• Other marketing and BD tasks as required.

Key requirements:

• Completed minimum secondary education. Bachelors or masters degree in marketing is a plus
• Candidates with a legal background and an interest in marketing are encouraged to apply for the position
• Fluent in Bulgarian; excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken
• IT skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent client care skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Positive person with ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
