Full Job Description
Great opportunity to join our Funds Team as an Associate or Senior Associate.
About the Role
The CMS funds team is band 1 ranked and the practice covers both manager and investor side private funds and investment management. The teams clients range from boutique and emerging fund managers to globally regarded investment managers and institutional investors. The role offers:
- a range of GP and LP side work;
- the opportunity to work closely with the international CMS funds group, as well as the tax, regulatory and other sector teams in the UK, Europe, APAC and beyond;

About You
You will have excellent drafting and negotiation skills, the ability to translate legal theory into practical advice, sound judgement and good interpersonal and analytical skills. To meet the needs of the role, you will have an appropriate level of post qualification experience (4PQE minimum) in a leading law firm and have focused on funds and investment management. Ideally, you will have broad experience of fund and other platform formations (including within some of private equity, credit, venture, real estate and infrastructure sectors), both closed-ended and evergreen structures, and LP-side advice on fund and co-investment transactions.
