Job Overview

This is a senior technology leadership role responsible for the design, development, and evolution of Wealth Lending Servicing application platforms. The role requires deep handson expertise in Javabased fullstack development, microservices architecture, and cloudnative technologies, along with ownership for driving solution design and delivery aligned to business objectives and targetstate architecture.

A strong understanding of SDLC, system integration, and Agile delivery models is essential, as is the ability to translate business and operational needs into scalable, resilient technology solutions supporting the global endstate Wealth Lending Servicing platform.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver scalable, resilient Javabased fullstack applications for Wealth Lending Servicing, aligned to targetstate architecture and engineering standards.
  • Lead solution design across microservices, APIs, and integration layers, ensuring secure, highperformance, and maintainable implementations.
  • Partner with business, product, and technology stakeholders to translate functional and nonfunctional requirements into robust technical solutions supporting new products and process improvements.
  • Drive engineering excellence by enforcing best practices across code quality, testing, security, performance, and operational readiness.
  • Build and enhance eventdriven and APIbased integrations, supporting distributed and highly available systems.
  • Champion CI/CD, automation, and cloudnative deployment practices to improve delivery speed, reliability, and developer productivity.
  • Proactively identify and resolve complex technical and nontechnical issues, ensuring platform stability, resilience, and rapid recovery.
  • Leverage AIassisted development tools responsibly to improve engineering efficiency, code quality, and development consistency in line with firm policies.
  • Lead application modernization initiatives, including migration of legacy platforms to microservices and cloudaligned architectures.
  • Influence technical direction and outcomes through clear communication, architectural guidance, and effective collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 1015 years of relevant experience in the Financial Services industry, delivering enterprisescale technology solutions in regulated environments.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering complex, multisystem, distributed, highly available applications.
  • Strong handson expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and fullstack application development.
  • Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs, eventdriven systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and distributed messaging architectures.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloudnative deployment platforms (e.g., OpenShift, Harness, Lightspeed).
  • Deep knowledge of application and API security, including OAuth2 and tokenbased security models.
  • Experience modernizing legacy Java platforms to microservices and cloudnative architectures.
  • Strong understanding of architectural principles, design patterns, and system integration patterns, with experience producing high and lowlevel design artifacts.
  • Proven ability to lead technical design and influence engineering decisions across teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical tradeoffs to senior audiences.
  • Experience leveraging AIassisted development tools to enhance developer productivity and engineering quality.
