Job Overview

The Sales & Trading Program is structured to help candidates from diverse backgrounds with non-traditional experience pivot into a finance career with Citis Markets business. Our Trading team is responsible for the execution and settlement of trades and resolving trade-related issues in timely manner. This job collaborates closely with various internal and external stakeholders to support the Citis trading activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support sales and trading teams in executing trades and providing market analysis to clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations, pitch books, and market research reports.
  • Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and news events to identify potential trading opportunities.
  • Conduct financial analysis and valuation of securities to support trading strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including research, operations, and compliance, to ensure smooth execution of trades.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of financial markets and trading strategies. t
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Bachelors/University degree
