Job Overview

The Prime Brokerage Client Executive is responsible for driving growth with our existing Equity, Fixed Income and Synthetic Prime Brokerage client base. As a relationship manager, you will work to understand your clients and their needs and ensure a best-in-class client experience from the initial onboarding through the full client lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver client satisfaction and enhanced financial results through the management of operational issues impacting the target clients
  • Coordinate internal resources to ensure that the client is appropriately supported
  • Identify clients’ business needs and work with internal partners to deliver solutions, adding value and cross-selling Citi products
  • Perform regular service reviews and develop actions plans to address issues and deliver solutions as well as perform regular face-to-face client meetings
  • Lead strong governance and controls
  • Work in close partnership with Transition Management and Origination Sales to ensure smooth onboarding and connectivity to the Citi Prime platform
  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
  • Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for the Prime Services and Equities franchise
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to you
  • Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe
  • Assisting more senior team members with administrative sales functions
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 4-8 years of relevant experience
  • Proven analytical and organizational skills
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Consistently demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment
  • Series 7 and 63 preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred.
