Job Overview

The Mortgage Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate position responsible for providing customer service assistance and meeting sales targets for financial products and services within their assigned district or location, in coordination with the broader Consumer Sales team. The overall objective is to utilize a wide range of product knowledge to build relationships with clients in order to recognize which financial products and services meet their needs.



Responsibilities:

This role is part of the Correspondent channel's Sales group. Position frequently interacts with Channel sales/sales support team members and various other business partners on a wide scope of items, including

  • Assist with development of new customer facing publishing items to support channel initiatives (marketing collateral, job aids, FAQs, quality best practices and email campaigns)
  • Tasks related to maintenance of the Correspondent Manual
  • Maintenance of existing reference document library content (quality best practices, job aids and orientation materials),
  • Create and distribute monthly newsletter for combined sales teams
  • Issues ongoing client-facing communications (monthly policy updates and standard announcements
  • Work with third party vendors to publish / distribute external publishing items
  • Various administrative tasks including those associated with industry event attendance
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned

Candidate will be expected to develop and implement a cross functional process for prioritizing assigned work and managing progress on multiple items simultaneously. Success is measured by demonstrated ability to manage assigned tasks, meet established timelines, use of appropriate context for Correspondent client base, time management skills., following documented instructions, etc.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Correspondent or Wholesale originations roles
  • Knowledge of third party loan life cycle
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel. Experience with Adobe Pro or similar application desired.
  • Technical writing experience preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience
