Job Overview

The Investment Banking Associate is an intermediate-level position in our Swiss Investment Banking Team in Zurich. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients in executing complex transactions across M&A, Equity Capital Markets, and Debt Capital Markets, in coordination with various sector and product banking teams. The overall objective of this role is to act as a strategic advisor to our clients, which include large multinational corporations and financial sponsors

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive financial models and valuation analyses for M&A, equity, and debt transactions to support strategic client advisory
  • Create and prepare high-impact client presentations that analyse industry trends, assess financial situations, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve their goals
  • Assist in managing the full transaction lifecycle, which includes leading due diligence processes and coordinating with advisors
  • Play a key role in developing and strengthening client relationships, participating in advisory teams, and ensuring effective communication throughout transaction processes
  • Contribute to the firm's apprenticeship culture by actively training, mentoring, and guiding the professional development of our analysts and interns

Qualifications:

  • Preferred candidates will hold 3-6 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking
  • Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Econometrics, or Science preferred
  • Proven experience covering Swiss corporates is highly desirable
  • Experience in corporate valuation and complex financial analyses
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with proven experience in a client-facing capacity
