Team/Role Overview

The Client Executive is responsible for owning, developing and growing our key Financial Institution client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, driving measurable revenue growth, and efficient and appropriate client profitability, acting with integrity whilst doing this.

The Client Executive will manage a portfolio of Financial Institution clients, build long lasting relationships, becoming a trusted advisor. The Client Executive will develop an understanding of their clients operating and organisational structures, working to promote and deliver the full range of applicable Citi products by understanding their transaction services needs, whilst acting as a client advocate internally.

Job Background/context:

  • Identify and coordinate new cross-sell opportunities within own portfolio, whilst driving appropriate incremental growth of products and services already being provided.
  • Drive revenue realisation on deals implemented, in partnership with internal partners, particularly Solution Sales.
  • Develop and maintain industry knowledge. Familiarity with Transaction Services products such as cash management, trade finance, and securities services is highly desirable.
  • Penetrate client organisation and cultivate client contacts, working collaboratively TTS FI Solution Sales Specialists, Operations and Client Delivery to deliver superior client satisfaction.
  • Track all deals pending and work with internal partners to ensure seamless, efficient delivery, whilst maintaining appropriate governance for and with clients.
  • Work independently and in partnership with TTS FI Global / Regional Solution Sales Specialists with the preparation and delivery, where applicable, of relationship reviews.
  • Review, screen and co-ordinate timely responses to all client related enquiries either personally or through redirecting to Operations, Client Delivery or appropriate Product Specialists, coordinating escalation where required and maintaining appropriate monitoring and governance of issues of concern.
  • Build an effective internal network working closely with internal partners, including overseas Citi branches, to be an advocate for their clients.

What youll do

  • Drive revenue realisation through cross sell and partnership.
  • Work closely with TTS FI Global/Regional Solutions Sales Specialists, focusing on revenue expansion and revenue realisation in line with individual and team targets.
  • Drive deals through Implementation ensuring ramp up of revenue from deals implemented and monitoring revenues to ensure retention of existing revenue, manage and report attrition across client portfolio, achieving defined retention and growth targets annually.
  • Assist with client communication of product migrations, regulatory changes and key market and industry driven initiatives and updates associated with their client portfolio.
  • Coordinate TTS Relationship Reviews and call briefing memos.
  • Monthly review of revenue analytics and forecasting.
  • Lead, or be instrumentally involved, with rebid RFPs.
  • Be the Voice of the Client.
  • Be the client advocate, ensuring profile client issues are addressed promptly, working with internal partners to facilitate and drive resolution where necessary - using the tools provided to record, monitor and escalate process or product gaps and / or inefficiencies.
  • Be responsible for driving superior client satisfaction, managing the Voice of the Client (VOC) process (e.g., through client surveys and direct feedback mechanisms), including the timely recording of client sentiment on a rolling basis. Work on action plans where required.
  • Provide client feedback on product, process and service needs.
  • Take ownership, lead and track specific customer issues/problems including pricing and billing issues and work with the customer and internal departments until any issues are remediated.
  • Ensure compliance with TTS credit, risk and TTS FI Sales processes where applicable.

What well need from you

We are looking for a highly motivated TTS Client Executive to drive Client satisfaction, revenue realisation, retention, cross sell expansion and attrition management. The individual will have at least 3 years of proven experience in a client-facing role (e.g., Customer Service/Client Delivery, Sales, Operations or Credit administration), be customer focused and able to operate at all levels, demonstrating a strong track record of successful client engagement, problem-solving, and relationship management.

Skills:

  • Results oriented self-Starter, whilst being a collaborative team player.
  • Proven track record of cross-selling skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence handling senior-level discussions with clients.
  • Ability to multi-task and constantly assess and change priorities in line with the demands of the business and client-base.
  • Willingness and motivation to maintain a steep learning curve, keeping updated with the business, client demands and market developments.
