Job Overview

We are seeking an experiencedDatabase Administratorto manage and optimize on-premiseOracle Autonomous Database (Oraas),MongoDB, andBig Datasystems, with a focus onmodernizingthese databases to private cloud solutions. This role requires strong expertise in database administration, high availability, migration strategies, and cloud-based database services. Candidates with hands-on experience in Starburst, Iceberg, or Databricks are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimizeon-premise databases (Oraas,MongoDB,Big Data).

  • Implementhigh availability,disaster recovery, andperformance tuningfor both on-premise and cloud environments.

  • Developbackup/recovery strategiesand ensure compliance with security standards.

  • Automate database management tasks to improve operational efficiency.

  • Lead database migrationstoAWSandGDP Database Services, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.

  • Monitor and managecloud resources inAWSandGDP, ensuring scalability, cost-effectiveness, and security.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful cloud migrations and integrations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience withOracle Autonomous Database,MongoDB, andBig Datasystems.
