Job Overview

The Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Corporate Banking Vice President is an senior level position responsible for delivering credit & corporate finance solutions for some of the worlds largest and most complex financial institutions. The overall objective of this role is to drive revenue by cross-selling Citis global platform while efficiently deploying the firm's capital and managing risk. This role will be primarily focused on the coverage of asset management clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Senior Bankers to provide overall relationship management support
  • Support Senior Bankers in cross-selling Citis full spectrum of products and services by identifying customer needs. Responsible for evaluating public financial filings, equity research reports, industry news, and financial forecasts to produce strategic and financial analyses
  • Assist with day-to-day client needs such as: underwriting credit, lending, accessing the investment grade and leveraged finance capital markets, providing FX & derivatives solutions, cash management & trade financing, providing capital allocation and capital structure advice, and constructing models to assess financing scenarios and public ratings outcomes
  • Responsible for staying up to date on market and industry trends, best practices and competitive landscape

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Sound understanding of the Corporate Banking business and its related products, pertinent regulations affecting it and the lending and credit approval process
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning, negotiation, organizational and analytical skills
  • Experience with large corporate clients, capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade, finance and securities products
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses

Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred
