Job Overview
The CDB Desk Specialist is an intermediate level position responsible for the development of the CDB portfolio, quoting, selling and booking CDB transaction, coordinating with Sales and Banking teams.
The CDB Desk Specialist will discuss an implement the CDB portfolio strategy based on based on market and industry research and trends and client needs, taking into consideration franchises balance sheet perspective.
Responsibilities:
Follow market, industry and client trends to own field
Ensure product delivery is provided in a consistent, professional and high quality level planned and coordinated with unit Manager
Work in close co-ordination with Sales, Technology, Business Managers and senior stakeholders to fulfill the delivery objectives
Identifiy solutions and opportunities ranging across data analytics
Deliver direct business results and advice regarding product development that necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy
Assist the customer lifecycle strategy from acquisition through early client engagement and implement strategies to optimize portfolio performance
Assess relevant customer, competitor, and industry insights to help define strategies to improve client experience and portfolio growth
Provide insight and recommendations on innovative product development, product targeting, and segmentation strategies
Partner with business leaders and a widely distributed global user community to define and implement solutions
Oversee product financial performance including identifying opportunities and gaps, and developing business strategies
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
5-8 years of relevant experience
Required Licensing/Registration: CPA-20
Intellectual curiosity, analytical, and conceptual thinker
Proactively seeks and develops new opportunities
Ability to build networks and relationships internally and externally
Demonstrated experience driving business innovation, leveraging management information, and data analytics to drive results
Experience in scenario development and forecasting
Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrated analytical and influencing skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience
