Team / Role Overview

This role is for the UK Transfer Agency team, within Funds Operations. The team is responsible for providing shareholder servicing to Transfer Agency clients.

The UK TA service is a digital offering and the team therefore mainly manages exceptions and the oversight of the main TA processes - Investor and Distributor trade processing, Investor Onboarding, including AML processes, register maintenance, cash settlements, cash reconciliations and client money processes, distributions, and reporting.
The team also acts as a primary contact for Transfer Agency clients for queries and initiatives.

The role holder is responsible for participating in the achievement of the daily tasks.  These tasks could include the opening of new investor accounts, customer servicing through responding to enquiries and complaints, placing manual deals and distribution processing.

What you'll do

  • Complete the daily workflow, ensuring tasks assigned are completed in line with procedures and controls, and within SLA.
  • Work with the project team assist in project work where required.
  • Assist your manager in the on boarding of new clients and in the development of new products and initiatives for existing clients.
  • Comply with internal Risk policies and escalate risks and issues accordingly.
  • Build trusted working relationships with the TA clients serviced within the team and be involved in client meetings as requested by Manager.
  • Delegate for team manager as required.

  • TA knowledge is required, with a good understanding of one or more core TA functions
  • Good understanding of Funds and their products
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Effective organization skills
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good attention to detail with high levels of accuracy and the ability to instill this culture with a team
  • The ability to adhere to established procedures but also to think proactively and to communicate suggested procedural changes
  • The ability to foster a good team spirit
  • The ability to work in a changing environment and demonstrate flexibility
  • The ability to work to deadlines
