Your role
- Configure, and optimize ServiceNow ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping solutions for on-premises and cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain custom patterns, probes, sensors, and MID Server capacity to ensure robust horizontal and top-down infrastructure discovery.
- Administer Discovery schedules, reconcile results, and manage anomalies to uphold CMDB data integrity.
- Define and enforce CMDB alignment with CSDM and enterprise data models, ensuring accurate CI relationships.
- Integrate Discovery and Mapping with third-party tools (e.g., SCCM, cloud APIs), using REST/SOAP and IntegrationHub.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams to accurately map business services; engage stakeholders in reviewing and validating service maps.
- Monitor MID Server performance and scale deployments to match enterprise needs.
Your profile
- Hands-on ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery & Service Mapping).
- Profound understanding of CMDB, CSDM, Discovery architectural best practices, and enterprise-scale implementations.
- Expert in building custom Discovery patterns, probes, sensors, and optimizing mapping techniques (traffic, tag, and predictive intelligence).
- Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide API), Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP API integrations.
