As the largest Independent Oracle Consulting Practice in the UK, Capgemini is at the forefront of delivering innovative solutions, and we understand that one of the keys to our success is the ability for our Consultants to articulate the benefits, approach and strategies for Cloud adoption and evolution. We are looking for Oracle Infrastructure Engineers to work hands-on with Oracles IaaS and PaaS products in exciting and dynamic project environments.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

  • A key emphasis for us is on implementing solutions that make a difference by ensuring the delivery of quantifiable benefits to the client and you will provide advice and guidance to our customers on the process improvements and efficiencies that can be realised through the implementation of Oracle Cloud EPM.
  • To achieve this, you will need to work closely with the client SMEs and stakeholders to familiarise them with the Oracle Cloud Financials capabilities and support them in the decisions and development of the solution and process design for their finance function.
  • You will be responsible for a broad range of implementation activities including configuration, demonstrations, design workshops, documentation, testing, report development, training, data migration, knowledge transfer, production go-live, hyper-care and transition to the support organisation.
  • You will also occasionally be required to provide support to pre-sales activities including the financials processes solution design, performing requirements fit / gap analysis, providing system demonstrations and advising on resourcing requirements for planning and estimating purposes.

Your skills and experience

  • 5+ years of relevant consulting experience in a professional services environment, with a large or boutique consulting firm, or serving as an internal consultant within industry.
  • Implementation experience with Oracle Cloud EPM products with at least one full life-cycle oracle planning cloud implementation.
  • Relevant experience in technology implementation methodology and cycles (Development, Testing, Documentation, Cutover, Deployment, Hypercare)
  • Success leading implementations by gathering system and business requirements, design, and build Planning Cloud solutions including writing calculation scripts and building applications from end-to-end.
  • Ability to translate technology functionality into process improvements.
  • Ability to translate process requirements into technology functionality.
  • Relevant experience implementing one or more EPM Technologies
  • Strong understanding of Oracle EPM Cloud architecture and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to write business rules, design and optimize planning models, and work with data integration tools.
  • Understanding of finance business processes, including forecasting and budgeting cycles, and actual corporate reporting requirements
  • Proven track record of success in identifying and addressing client needs and developing EPM solutions that solve complex business problems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and assignments.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
