About the Job You Are Considering
We are seeking a Data Migration Lead to play a critical role in a largescale SAP S/4HANA implementation. This role is ideal for a seasoned SAP professional with deep expertise in data migration and a proven track record of leading complex S/4HANA conversion programs.
As a Data Migration Lead, you will be responsible for owning the endtoend data migration strategyfrom planning and design through execution and validationensuring data accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional leads, technical teams, and external partners to support a successful S/4HANA transformation.
This is a highly visible, clientfacing role requiring strong leadership, solutioning capability, and the ability to manage crossfunctional and global delivery teams.

Your Role
As the Data Migration Lead, you will:

  • Lead endtoend Data Migration for SAP S/4HANA implementations, including strategy, planning, execution, testing, and cutover support
  • Drive collaboration across business, functional, and technical teams to understand currentstate landscapes and business processes
  • Define and document data migration requirements, data mapping, transformation logic, and conversion rules from legacy systems to S/4HANA
  • Design and implement robust SAP data migration and technical solutions, ensuring data quality, consistency, and risk mitigation
  • Manage and coordinate onsite/offshore delivery models, ensuring seamless communication and execution across global teams
  • Oversee and guide technical development activities, including ETL development and migration tooling, in collaboration with development teams
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate data migration risks and dependencies across the program
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing regular status updates, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment with overall program goals
  • Mentor and guide data migration team members, providing technical direction and ensuring delivery excellence
  • Manage timelines, dependencies, and deliverables to support a successful golive and postmigration stabilization


Your Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP Data Migration and ETL, with at least 2 years of handson experience on SAP S/4HANA data migration
  • Demonstrated experience leading Data Migration for at least one full SAP S/4HANA implementation
  • 7+ years of experience in clientfacing consulting or delivery roles, managing complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong experience managing onsite/offshore delivery models and coordinating distributed teams
  • Deep understanding of SAP data structures, migration approaches, and conversion methodologies
  • Proven solutioning skills with the ability to design scalable, secure, and efficient SAP data and technical solutions
  • Solid programming and software development knowledge, enabling effective coordination with development and ETL teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholdermanagement skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams, prioritize effectively, and deliver under tight timelines
  • Experience mentoring and guiding data migration consultants and technicians (strong plus)

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $88,544 - $207,401

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
