Your Role
- Own and manage the Service Asset & Configuration Management (SACM) and CMDB processes within the ITSM framework
- Maintain and update the CMDB, ensuring all configuration items (CIs) accurately reflect the current IT environment
- Oversee CI classification, categorization, and relationship mapping across infrastructure and applications
- Monitor and improve CMDB data quality, resolving inconsistencies and ensuring data reliability
- Ensure governance, compliance, and adherence to CMDB standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Perform periodic audits to validate CMDB accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with IT Operations, Service Management, and other teams to capture and update asset data
- Support Incident, Change, Problem, and Release Management processes with accurate configuration data
- Generate reports and analytics to track CI trends, compliance, and operational insights
- Drive continuous improvement and optimization of CMDB processes, tools, and integrations
Your Profile
- 4 to 6 years of experience in SACM and CMDB management within an ITSM environment
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery tools
- Good understanding of ITIL practices, especially Configuration and Change Management
- Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, databases, cloud, and applications)
- Experience in data management, automation, and CMDB integrations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
