YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with a strong focus on Performance and Tuning, Backups and Restores, Oracle RAC, ASM, DataGuard, and data migration. The DBA will be responsible for the administration, availability, performance, security, and evolution of Oracle Database platforms in critical and high-availability environments:

  • Administration, maintenance, and support of Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c, or higher) in on-premises and/or cloud environments.
  • Proactive monitoring of databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and stability.
  • Performance analysis and execution of SQL and PL/SQL Tuning (AWR, ASH, ADDM, statistics, execution plans).
  • Implementation and management of backup and recovery strategies (RMAN), regular restore testing, and Disaster Recovery plans.
  • Administration and troubleshooting of Oracle RAC environments.
  • Management of ASM (Automatic Storage Management).
  • Configuration, maintenance, and support of Oracle DataGuard environments (physical/logical standby, switchover, failover).
  • Planning and execution of data migrations and version upgrades.
  • Support for development teams in optimizing SQL and PL/SQL code.
  • Implementation of security best practices, user management, roles, and privileges.
  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and operational procedures.
  • Support for production environments, including handling critical incidents.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Proven experience as an Oracle DBA
  • Solid knowledge in:
  • Oracle Performance & Tuning
  • RMAN Backups and Restores
  • Oracle RAC
  • ASM
  • Oracle DataGuard
  • SQL and PL/SQL
  • Data Migration
  • Experience in mission-critical and high-availability environments.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Experience with automation scripts (Shell, SQL*Plus, etc.).
