Your Role
As an OpenWrt Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and integrating Layer 3 and datacom features on embedded systems. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance networking solutions for next-generation routers and gateways.
In this role, you will:
- Design and implement networking features on OpenWrt-based platforms.
- Develop and optimize IP routing, NAT, firewall, and PON functionalities.
- Ensure compliance with datacom protocol standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with hardware and QA teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues in embedded environments.
Your Profile
- Strong experience and understanding of OpenWrt architecture and development.
- Solid design knowledge of Layer 3/datacom features.
- In-depth understanding of datacom protocol standards (e.g., TCP/IP, VLAN, PPPoE).
- Very strong proficiency in C programming for embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience with OpenWrt-based routers and RDK-B integration.
- Familiarity with IP routing, NAT, firewall, and PON technologies.
