About the job you're considering
To support the continued growth of our Cloud and Infrastructure Services business, Capgemini is expanding its observability and automation capability. We are seeking a Technical Architect to design, govern, and assure bestpractice client solutions for infrastructure observability and automation across complex enterprise environments.
You will work with clients and internal delivery teams to architect scalable, secure, and resilient solutions using industry-leading platforms such as Ansible, Splunk, and ServiceNow, ensuring strong integration across monitoring, automation, and IT Service Management (ITSM).
This role is architecture-led, focused on solution design, standards, patterns, and client outcomes, rather than daytoday platform administration.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your role
This role includes the following responsibilities:
- Design endtoend observability architectures (metrics, logs, traces, alerting, dashboards) using platforms like Splunk
- Architect infrastructure automation and configuration management solutions aligned to IaC and DevOps (e.g. Ansible)
- Define and promote reference architectures, standards, reusable patterns, and best practices
- Design integrations between observability, automation platforms, and ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow) for automated workflows
- Translate client requirements into scalable, secure, costeffective technical solutions, providing governance and design assurance
- Collaborate across teams and support presales activities, including solution design, client workshops, and modern platform adoption
You can bring your whole self to work. At Capgemini building an inclusive future is part of everyday life and will be part of your working reality. We have built a representative and welcoming environment, for everyone.
Your skills and experience
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect/Senior Lead in cloud, infrastructure, or managed services
- Strong expertise in observability platforms (e.g. Splunk) and enterprise monitoring solutions
- Solid experience designing and governing infrastructure automation (e.g. Ansible) aligned to DevOps practices
- Skilled in integrating infrastructure and observability with ITSM platforms (e.g. ServiceNow, CMDB, incident/change workflows)
- Strong understanding of cloud and hybrid architectures (AWS, Azure, onprem) and defining architecture standards and best practices
- Excellent communication skills with ability to convey complex designs, supported by knowledge of SDLC and service management models
