YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a motivated Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. The Network Engineer will assist in maintaining and supporting our organization's network infrastructure, working closely with senior team members to ensure network availability, security, and performance.

YOUR TASKS

  • Assist in the day-to-day maintenance and monitoring of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN;
  • Help configure and maintain basic network equipment, such as switches and routers;
  • Participate in network troubleshooting;
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining network security measures;
  • Help maintain network documentation and diagrams;
  • Monitor network performance and report any issues or anomalies;
  • Participate in routine network maintenance tasks and upgrades;
  • Assist in setting up and configuring user accounts and access rights;
  • Learn and apply networking best practices and security protocols;
  • Support the help desk with network-related issues as needed.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT or networking (internships and academic projects count).
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS);
  • Knowledge of technologies: Cisco ISE, Cisco Duo, Aruba WIF, Fortinet WIF, RSA Cloud + Onprem, Console NPS, FortiAnalyzer, Elastiflow, Cloud Meraki, LibreNms, PRTG, Lumen + Zabbix, NetFlow
  • Familiarity with network hardware such as routers and switches;
  • Knowledge of network security principles;
  • Eagerness to learn and ability to quickly grasp new technologies;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment;
  • Basic scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.

Nice to have:

  • Entry-level networking certification (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA);
  • Experience with network monitoring tools;
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems;
  • Knowledge of cloud concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure).
