Your Role

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Utilise vendor best practices across cloud + on-premises infrastructure
  • Cloud Platforms (AWS & Azure): Support and maintain core cloud services across AWS and Azure environments. Assist with provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of IaaS/PaaS workloads.
  • Window Server builds & upgrades hosted in Azure, AWS and 3rd Party VMware
  • Manage certificates across internal PKI, public certificate authorities, web services, and infrastructure components. Ensure timely renewal and lifecycle governance.
  • Drive continuous improvement and reduction in manual effort by automating deployments and configuration updates
  • Execution of application and/or platform changes, releases, and service requests in supported environments
  • Root cause analysis and service improvement solutions
  • Adhere to ITIL guidelines for Incident, Problem, Risk, Configuration and Change Management
  • Ensure all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods, and procedures
  • Flexible work arrangements two days per week from home
  • Have existing AWS or Microsoft certifications

Your Profile

You will need to be a passionate, motivated and client focused Support Engineer.

  • Previous experience in working for an MSP or large government schools
  • Managing, Upgrading & Building of Windows Servers in Azure, AWS and VMware Environments
  • In depth expertise in Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, GPO, File Server, DHCP, DNS, AWS, audit response and vulnerability remediation
  • A hunger for knowledge with the passion to learn about the latest innovations in the industry, which you will enjoy sharing with the wider team
  • Adaptability to changing environments and workloads
  • Ability to use own initiative
