Your role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive French speaking Application Support Engineer to join our team. This role involves maintaining the stability and performance of critical applications, resolving complex incidents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
Your tasks
- Troubleshoot and resolve OS-level incidents across Linux and Windows environments
- Resolve Level 2 and Level 3 support tickets
- Process service requests and implement approved changes
- Maintain and update operational documentation (DEX)
- Ensure the availability of high-impact applications
- Communicate directly with stakeholders when required
- Leverage a good understanding of application architecture to diagnose and resolve issues
Your profile
Language Skills:
- Proficiency in French (spoken and written)
Essential Skills:
- Good knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Positive attitude and eagerness to grow across various technologies
- Familiarity with scheduling/orchestration tools (e.g., CTRLM)
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Zabbix)
Desirable Skills:
- Exposure to middleware technologies (e.g. Apache, Tomcat, JBoss)
- Familiar with Shell scripting and/or Ansible
- Experience with databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
