Head of Platform Engineering / Site Reliability

YOUR ROLE

• Provide disciplinary leadership to the Site Reliability Engineering team, fostering a high performance, collaborative, and innovation driven culture.
• Own all initiatives related to Site Reliability Engineering, including long term strategy, roadmap definition, execution oversight, and budget accountability.
• Ensure delivery of secure, reliable, and high quality software & services aligned with customer needs and business expectations.
• Establish and enforce best practices in coding standards, documentation, architecture, and development methodologies.
• Manage external service providers where neededincluding contracts, coordination, and cost validation.
• Work closely with product owners, technical leads, UX, business stakeholders, and other Head-Ofs to ensure alignment, dependencies resolution, and shared ownership of outcomes.

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven experience leading technical teams in SRE, operations, or production environments, with strong incident and escalation management in high-availability systems.
• Solid understanding of SRE principles, Linux systems, and cloud or hybrid infrastructures (AWS, private cloud), combined with experience in monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation), with the ability to translate business needs into reliability and operational goals.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Kanban environments, with strong documentation, process definition, and collaboration skills.
