Job Description

The Financial Controller is responsible for leading the organizations financial planning, performance management, and governance activities. It partners closely with senior stakeholders and SFC teams to provide strategic financial insight, ensure strong financial controls, and support informed decision-making. The position plays a key role in driving budgeting and forecasting excellence, improving finance processes, managing financial risks, and ensuring compliance with global and local requirements while supporting day-to-day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Prepare timely financial reports and analyze costs, trends, KPIs, and variances.
  • Partner with department heads and SFC teams to provide financial guidance and decision support.
  • Ensure compliance with global policies, local regulations, and internal control requirements.
  • Support audits and maintain strong governance over spending and approvals.
  • Identify and implement improvements in finance processes, reporting, and performance management.
  • Monitor financial risks and recommend mitigation actions.
  • Support daily finance operations and guide finance team members as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA, CMA, or CPA preferred).
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or FP&A; multinational experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
