Your Role
As an Engagement Manager at Capgemini, you act as a trusted partner to the client, ensuring successful delivery, strong governance, and sustained value creation across cloud and DevOps engagements. You are accountable for managing end-to-end delivery of cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD transformation initiatives, while driving financial performance, stakeholder relationships, and continuous improvement. You ensure alignment with Capgemini standards, client expectations, and industry best practices in cloud, DevOps, and platform engineering.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Own end-to-end delivery of cloud and DevOps engagements (CI/CD, IaC, platform engineering), ensuring scope, timelines, and quality objectives are met.
- Orchestrate multi-disciplinary teams, partners, and suppliers to deliver reliable, automated, and scalable solutions aligned to contractual commitments.
- Drive financial performance (revenue, margin, cost control) through accurate forecasting, resource optimization, and corrective actions.
- Establish and enforce delivery governance aligned with Capgemini standards, client requirements, and cloud/DevOps best practices.
- Build strong client relationships by understanding business priorities and driving value through cloud transformation and automation initiatives.
- Provide structured reporting on delivery, financials, risks, and KPIs, ensuring transparency across all governance forums.
- Proactively manage risks, issues, and changes in fast-paced DevOps environments, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal disruption to delivery.
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative culture, enabling teams to adapt, innovate, and continuously improve tools, processes, and ways of working.
Your Profile
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in consultative IT project management within software development and qualityrelated domains, with the ability to build a forwardlooking vision based on comparable large-scale programs.
- Strong knowledge of business process management, enterprise architecture, and project management standards and methodologies, including agile and Scrum practices.
- Proven capability in applying and adapting project management methodologies (e.g., PM2, PRINCE2, PMP) with at least 8 years of hands-on experience.
- Confident user of project management tools, with the willingness to adopt and work with the tools mandated by the Contracting Authority.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholdermanagement skills, with the ability to chair meetings, deliver presentations, and work effectively in complex multicultural environments.
- Ability to understand multidisciplinary constraints and objectives, guiding teams and stakeholders toward aligned, high-quality project outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Good knowledge of French will be a strong differentiator.
