About the Job you are considering:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Jenkins to design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation, build and release management, and cloud-native DevOps practices, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
Automate build, testing, and deployment workflows
Configure and manage Jenkins jobs and pipelines (Declarative and Scripted)
Integrate Jenkins with tools such as Git, Maven, Gradle, Docker, and Kubernetes
Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth delivery
Maintain and optimize build infrastructure and environments
Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams
Implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
Ensure security, compliance, and quality standards within pipeline processes
Create and maintain documentation for CI/CD pipelines and DevOps procedures
Your Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins (pipelines, plugins, configuration)
Proficiency in Groovy scripting for Jenkins pipeline development
Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps methodologies
Experience with Git and other version control systems
Familiarity with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, or Ant
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting
