Your role
As the Data Science Lead within Capgemini, you will be responsible for defining and upholding the Data Science standards that support Neo, the newly launched Group-wide AI platform. You will guide experimentation, evaluation, and refinement of AI models, and coordinate Data Science contributions for new features entering Neo. This role focuses on knowledge quality and alignment with Neos platform requirements, working closely with product and engineering teams.
Your tasks
Leading Data Science activities across streams and ensuring consistent methodology, model quality and evaluation practices.
Defining experimentation frameworks, test protocols, prompt evaluation methods and feasibility assessments for new features.
Supervising how models interact with Neos knowledge base to ensure accuracy, relevance and controlled behaviour.
Guiding Data Scientists in refining models using insights from the feature intake process and platform requirements.
Working with engineering and architects to ensure models are ready for integration, without taking on MLOps execution.
Your profile
Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or a related field.
7+ years of experience in Data Science, including NLP, retrievalaugmented systems, LLMs or applied AI solutions.
Proven ability to lead Data Science teams and establish experimentation pipelines and evaluation frameworks.
Strong knowledge of LLMs, embeddings, vector search and model assessment techniques.
Handson experience with Python, notebooks, experimentation frameworks and AI evaluation tooling.
Comfortable working crossfunctionally with product, engineering, architecture and knowledge teams.
