Job Description

  • Act as a retail process SME translating business needs into S/4HANA Retail requirements
  • Lead fittostandard workshops across merchandising, pricing, promotions, replenishment, and store operations
  • Document tobe processes, functional gaps, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Define KPI definitions and reporting needs aligned with Data, MDG, and Finance impacts
  • Prepare functional deliverables including process flows, requirements, test scripts, and training materials
  • Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and business change adoption
  • Strong stakeholder communication; JP/EN workshop facilitation preferred

Job Description - Grade Specific

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 58+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in retail or consumer-focused transformations
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Retail (or SAP Retail / IS-Retail experience with S/4HANA exposure)
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end retail processes and data flows
  • Proven experience running fit-to-standard workshops and documenting to-be processes
  • Experience supporting testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and business readiness

Language & Communication Skills

  • Native-level fluency in Japanese and English is good to have
  • Confidence facilitating workshops and discussions with senior stakeholders

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in large, multi-vendor or SI-led programs
  • Exposure to data, analytics, or master data governance (MDG) concepts
  • Familiarity with agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and quality
