How you can help shape the future:

As Marine Area Sales Manager Central Europe, you will lead regional sales activities across direct and indirect channels. You will inspire and develop high-performing teams, strengthen strategic partnerships, and drive sustainable, profitable growth across the marine sector.

Your new area of responsibility - challenging and future-oriented

  • Lead, coach, and develop a diverse, highperforming regional sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Plan and execute sales strategies across direct and indirect channels to deliver profitable growth of premium products and services.

  • Build and maintain strong, trustbased relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners, ensuring customer insights are embedded in value propositions and service offerings.

  • Actively manage, develop, and grow existing and prospective accounts and partnerships to maximize mutual value creation.

  • Translate regional and sector strategies into actionable channel and account plans, collaborating with internal stakeholders and securing financial approval for commercial deals.

  • Drive distributor performance and volume growth, ensuring optimal regional coverage through global programs and initiatives.

  • Strengthen sales capabilities by delivering regular coaching on value selling, prospecting, negotiation, and solutionbased selling.

  • Own sales forecasting and pipeline management, proactively managing risks and opportunities to reliably deliver volume, revenue, and receivables targets.

  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, the Code of Compliance, and all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Represent the region at country level, collaborating with crossfunctional stakeholders and contributing to the broader business strategy.

Your qualification profile - profound and passionate

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent; an advanced degree is an advantage.

  • Proven experience leading sales teams across large, diverse, and international geographies.

  • Strong experience within the marine sector; background in shipping, oil & gas, or adjacent industries is highly desirable.

  • Deep understanding of marine markets, customer segments, and competitive dynamics.

  • Demonstrated ability to inspire, develop, and retain diverse teams through effective coaching and talent development.

  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sustainable results and improving customer profitability.

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

  • Fluency in English; additional languages and relevant local language skills are a plus.
