Job Description:

The Maintenance Supervisor is accountable for preparing and delivering execution readiness of preventative and corrective maintenance for Tangguh gas production facility in their respective discipline. The Maintenance Supervisor drives prioritization and delivery of the facilitys maintenance backlog, propose improvement/solutions to minimize equipment downtime, efficient and high quality work execution, and ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, quality, and reliable maintenance activities in alignment with bp values.

  • Provide technical supervision and oversight of rotating equipment and related activities, i.e. pump, gas turbine, steam turbine, compressors, expander.

  • Ensure site readiness for the upcoming execution schedule.

  • Lead and supervise bp and contractor site maintenance teams to ensure safe, disciplined, and highquality execution of planned and unplanned activities.

  • Ensure all maintenance work close-out is completed in accordance with the work management data standards.

  • Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of bp and third party resources in completing maintenance work and resolving and/or escalating system issues that prevent the completion of scheduled maintenance work.

  • Manages and coaches a team of direct reports, driving the appropriate behaviours to achieve success, including a continuous improvement culture. Identifies capability gaps and puts gap closure plans in place. Accountable for development of the site Maintenance technician competence and capability to safely execute approved activity plans utilizing bp existing tools.

Experience and Qualification:

  • A minimum of diploma degree in mechanical engineering.

  • Proven experience in oil and gas related industry.

  • Direct experience delivering and driving work within maintenance and operations.

  • Experienced in general rotating equipment, i.e. pump, gas turbine, steam turbine, compressors, expander.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in leading team with track record in developing people.

  • Familiar with Work Management System.

  • Familiar with work permitting and risk assessment processes for maintenance preparation / execution activities.
