MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE: 

Essential Responsibilities:

This is an exciting new opportunity to lead the India team across Risk and Treasury technology. Reporting to the Head of Risk and Treasury Technology in London, this role is a hands-on opportunity to build a high performing team in our Bangalore office. Working in close partnership with the London team, the role includes delivering a range of short and long-term projects to global clients.

• Drive measurable improvement in the reliability, stability and observability of our batch processes
• Build a first-class team of engineers in our India office
• Drive AI usage to turbo-charge productivity for engineers and clients
• Provide support for Asia start of day and drive stability and automation to reduce manual intervention

WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:

• International experience collocated with Trading, Risk or Finance clients
• Proven experience of leading teams of 5-10 people
• Expertise at a building world class teams
• Strong technical background with excellent programming and database skills

TECHNICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

Essential

• Familiarity with Risk and P&L across multiple asset classes
• Programming background in multiple languages
• Proficiency in SQL
• AI adoption

Desirable

• Understanding of Equities, Credit, Rates, FX, Commodities and Digital asset classes
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, C++, .NET
• Experience with Snowflake
• Hands on with a variety of AI tools
