JOB DESCRIPTION

As an SAP S/4HANA Consultant (all genders) at BCG Platinion, you will play a central role in supporting clients with complex ERP transformations, with a particular focus on SAP S/4HANA. With your expertise, you will guide our clients through the entire project lifecycle, from strategy and planning to implementation and go-live, with a strong perspective on business value. You will work together with colleagues from the Boston Consulting Group on (inter)national customer projects and advise up to C-level.

  • Plan, execute and manage quantitative and qualitative analyses of business processes to determine value for our clients 
  • Developing and defining ERP target architectures for comprehensive IT landscapes, utilising technological innovations and anticipating future trends  
  • Defining and implementing the programme organisation and governance to successfully deliver the project and achieve the identified business benefits of the transformation  
  • Managing the procurement of system integration partners and software solutions 
  • Preparing and finalising project deliverables, including reports, workshop materials and business proposals  
  • Evaluate ongoing ERP projects and systems against defined business objectives and quality criteria and develop action plans for improvement 
  • Driving the implementation of recovery and stabilisation measures for ERP projects 

This is how you can make a difference


  • A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in strategic ERP/SAP projects
  • Proven track record in managing end-to-end ERP transformations leveraging industry standard approaches, e.g. SAP activate
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and associated enterprise technology (e.g., integration architecture, cloud deployment options, extensibility of the solution)
  • Familiarity with SAP industry solutions and analytical tools such as SAP BW/BI, SAP Analytics Cloud
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking capabilities
  • Strong client and result orientation with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Team spirit and the ability to manage and inspire cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
