As a Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in improving cybersecurity and promoting greater standardization of simulator components by leveraging a modular open systems architecture. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to transform operational challenges into effective technical solutions within Air Force simulation and training environments. Your proficiency in data analysis, optimization, and high-performance computing will be key to driving innovation and advancing mission capabilities.

You Have:
- 2+ years of experience in Department of Defense simulation and training environments
- Experience with standards such as High-Level Architecture (HLA), Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS), and Open Mission Systems (OMS)
- Experience with LAN or WAN infrastructure, remote connectivity solutions, and network hardware, including routers, bridges, and firewalls
- Secret clearance
- Associates degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field
- IAT Level II Certification
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with cloud technology, software virtualization and containerization, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SysML, and Digital Engineering (DE)
- Knowledge of systems engineering and standards processes based on the Systems Engineering Body of Knowledge (SEBoK)
- Possession of excellent communication and public speaking skills
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree in an Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or CS field

The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
