When youve developed so many systems that you can not only orchestrate the best solution for any technology-based challenge, but you can also anticipate and preempt future issues, youre a solutions architect. Youve evolved your skills into strategy through a long path of software development accomplishments and the curiosity to understand how all of the pieces of an IT ecosystem fit together. As a solution architect on our team, you'll translate your customers IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting architecture products. With your guidance, well help transform the way the Department of War (DoW) uses technology including cloud migration, integrating advanced technology, and modernizing legacy systems. You Have:
Experience in solution architecture and software development roles
Knowledge of large-scale systems integration and cross-domain solutions, including interfacing with government and DoW systems
Ability to work in Agile environments, including CI/CD and DevOps practices
Ability to establish trust and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
Nice If You Have:
Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, including OpenAPI, and distributed systems
Experience with orchestration and containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Serverless Architecture
Experience with cloud technologies and data engineering
Knowledge of advanced analytics, AI/ML workflows, and supporting intelligent decision-making systems through MLOps pipelines
Possession of exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Master's degree in Computer Science, or a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
CompTIA Security+ Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
