The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to not just develop software, but to build a system that will positively impact the lives of our nations veterans? As a MUMPS developer, you can solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Were looking for a developer with the advanced skills needed to diagnose and fix issues affecting VistA products for our Veterans Affairs (VA) client.
This role is more than just coding. We need a MUMPS developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and work in a team community. Using Agile life cycle development, youll build and repair health and clinical applications for the VA. Youll analyze user needs and the environment to make sure the solution youre developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:
- 4+ years of experience with MUMPS software development
- Experience with MUMPS software development and working in VistA environments using FileMan
- Knowledge of HL7 messaging development
- Knowledge of software development
- Knowledge of design or architectural patterns
- Knowledge of architecture styles and APIs
- Ability to understand front-end users' requirements
- Ability to communicate with front-end users to replicate their issues
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Associates degree in a CS field
Nice If You Have:
- Experience working in VistA environments
- Experience troubleshooting VA clinical products
- Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, and GitHub
- Experience with Microsoft Teams collaboration tools
- Experience in the VA or DoD
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle Process, including Agile development, Scrum, or Kanban
- Bachelors degree in a CS field
- SAFe Certifications
- VistA or MUMPS Learning Program Certification
