The Opportunity:
As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don't. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to solve some of our clients most complex problems and find solutions that keep our nation safe.
Support Joint and operational contingency planning efforts at the Combatant Command, Joint Staff, and Service Component levels. Apply expertise in the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) to develop contingency plans, concepts of operations, staff estimates, and orders supporting theater and strategic objectives. Participate in Operational Planning Teams (OPTs), Joint Planning Groups (JPGs), conferences, exercises, boards, bureaus, cells, and working groups to synchronize planning efforts across functional areas and higher headquarters. Conduct analysis of policies, processes, and operational requirements, support RFIs, and contribute to theater campaign planning, organizational assessments, and multi-domain operations initiatives. Prepare and deliver high-quality briefings, whitepapers, reports, and decision-support products for senior military and civilian leaders, including Flag Officers, General Officers, and SES personnel.

You Have:
- 5+ years of experience supporting military or DoD operational planning at the Service Headquarters, Service Component, Combatant Command, or Joint Staff level
- Experience applying the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) in contingency or operational planning environments
- Experience supporting contingency planning, theater campaign planning, or strategic-level planning efforts
- Knowledge of warfighting functions, defense planning, and multi-domain operations
- Experience with planning tools, automation systems, software, and databases used by the Joint Staff and Combatant Commands
- Ability to develop plans from concept development through orders production and present operational concepts to senior leaders
- Ability to produce and deliver high-quality reports, briefings, and written products for senior military audiences, including 3- and 4-star leadership
- Ability to work effectively in matrixed organizations and support cross-functional planning teams
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- 5+ years of experience in challenges specific to the EUCOM AOR
- Experience working individually and as part of a team to develop collaborative solutions to shared problems
- Experience facilitating working groups and meetings with diverse organizations
- Completion of Military Education Level 4 Qualification Course or equivalent
- Graduate of the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), Joint Advanced Warfighting School (JAWS), School of Advanced Warfighting (SAW), School of Advanced Air and Space Studies (SAASS), Maritime Advanced Warfighting School (MAWS), Basic Strategic Art Program (BSAP), or Advanced Strategic Art Program (ASAP)
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
