We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Tax Reporting & Compliance Manager to join our Wealth Management team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead tax reporting and compliance efforts, ensuring fiduciary income tax compliance for trusts and estates with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee key tax processes including triggering event reviews, IRA withholding reconciliations, nonresident alien withholding, and new account tax setups.
  • Manage foreign tax compliance, charitable payment reconciliations, and coordination of outside-prepared tax returns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support tax reporting and resolve issues, maintaining strong communication and autonomy within the team.
  • Participate in quality control reviews during peak tax seasons and support prospective client tax reviews to inform relationship decisions.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4-7 years of relevant tax reporting and compliance experience, preferably including fiduciary income tax and trust administration.
  • Experience working with external tax vendors and auditors, with strong knowledge of domestic and international tax filings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools to ensure efficient and accurate tax processes.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to trust and empower team members, fostering a productive and team-oriented environment.
