Vice President, Treasury CCAR Review & Challenge

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Treasury CCAR Review & Challenge to join our Treasury Risk Stress Testing team. This role is located in Pune

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

You will support the review & challenge of the CCAR / DFAST and quarterly stress testing program by providing independent risk analysis, challenge, and technical oversight of stress testing assumptions, methodologies, and results, consistent with enterprise governance and regulatory expectations.:

  • To perform a critical and objective challenge of stress scenario projections/results for all Balance Sheet components including Deposits, Loans, Treasury actions, Liquidity Risk metrics and Investment Portfolio, and associated P&L, to identify potential gaps and inaccuracies in estimation approaches

  • Provide expert risk judgment on conceptual soundness, key assumptions, limitations, and vulnerabilities embedded in stress testing methodologies and outputs.

  • Partner closely with Treasury, Finance, and Business Lines to ensure alignment of stress testing assumptions and outputs, while maintaining independent Second Line challenge and governance discipline.

  • Develop clear, concise, and well supported narratives documenting key challenges, stress results, scenario impacts, and business implications for senior management, risk committees, and regulatory audiences.

  • Present stress testing results, key risks, and capital impacts to senior management forums and risk committees, articulating both technical findings and high-level implications.

To be successful in this role, we are seeking the following:

  • Exceptional and proven analytical skills

  • Experience in a second line review & challenge function in a large financial institution, specifically covering PPNR workstream

  • Understanding of a banks Balance Sheet with a good understanding of basic accounting concepts

  • CFA strongly preferred

  • Technical degree including engineering, mathematics, physics, statistics, econometrics preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years (5 - 7 preferred) of experience in a large bank or a financial services firm.
